We embarked on a survey of 300 identity leaders to uncover the true state of identity governance in today’s enterprises. How much of a struggle are identity teams having with provisioning access to new hires, revoking excessive permissions, and running user access reviews? How far along are they on their automation roadmap? Key findings include:

• 84% of organizations rely primarily on manual processes for user access reviews and provisioning.
• Fewer than 6% have fully automated their IGA processes.
• 83% cite integration difficulties with legacy IGA systems as a barrier to automation.
